Advice and support for the use of computers in your business:

A website rescued by Paul.
Paul Morris can provide computing support and advice, covering many areas, for all sizes of businesses . Feel free to phone or email Paul if you would like help such as the topics outlined below. If something is not covered, please ask! - Paul would be pleased to discuss any specific requirements that you may have.
Internet and website related
- Working with you to develop a specification for a website - get the website your customers can use
- For small, cash-strapped businesses: how to get a website for free or very cheaply - helps sole traders and start-ups.
- Helping you get a better ranking with the search engines such as Google and Yahoo!: this is known as search engine optimisation (SEO) - a speciality of Paul's.
- Implementing other features on your website such as forums, Google Gadgets, RSS feeds, blogs and podcasting - these help promote your site. Paul has qualified in e-marketing with the Chartered Institute of Marketing
- Changing or improving an existing website. Paul is prepared to make small changes to existing sites, something that many web developers are reluctant to do
- Getting better photographs to the website (another speciality) - a picture is worth a 1000 words!
Other business support
- General advice on using computers in business to help improve your practices and efficiency
- Special projects where you do not have the skills or resources. One such project for a medium sized business currently in progress is researching B2B ecommerce solutions for a specific project.
- Help getting started, such as using email, choosing an ISP (and explaining what an ISP is and does!), options for 'Doing the accounts' and 'How do I get a Website?' (or do I need one?)
- Backing up your data
and a whole host more!
In addition
Paul has worked with many clients from those who have not used a computer before (and are fearful of the technology - if you know anyone that needs help, let us know), to IT graduates who think they know it all, and everyone in between. Paul even manages the emails of one client who has no computer
Just because the advice is given to smaller companies, this does not mean their use of technology is limited. On the Internet size does not equate to sophistication - many larger businesses get it wrong and Paul helps his clients avoid these costly mistakes. The list above is only a small sample of what he can do (and has done for others).

A website developed by Paul.
Please note that Paul is not a mainstream web developer (although he does have reasonable web development skills) but he does something many professional web developers overlook: He builds websites suited to your business and its customers, not to win prizes for graphics design. One of the first questions he asks is 'Who are your customers? What is your target market?'
So, if you are looking for basic, no-nonsense advice at a reasonable cost, talk to Paul first. He can arrange face-to-face meetings in Norfolk and Suffolk.
Please note that Paul does not sell, install nor repair computers; neither is he a network administrator so cannot fix networking problems. His skills are about using computer technology to the advantage of business.
